Meet Our Founder

Dr. Adrianna Chaparro, PsyD

Licensed Educational Psychologist, LEP #4702
Founder and Owner

Dr. Chaparro founded LexiRose Psychological Services to create a place where parents feel understood as they navigate the hopes, worries, and questions that come with wanting the very best for their child, where individuals feel safe, seen, and valued, and where families feel welcomed, supported, and accepted.

With extensive experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families through psychological and educational evaluations, consultation, and therapeutic services, Dr. Chaparro approaches her work from a neurodiversity affirming and culturally responsive perspective, recognizing and honoring each individual’s unique strengths, experiences, identities, and needs. She is committed to creating a safe, welcoming environment where every person feels respected, understood, and valued. Whether supporting a child through developmental challenges, helping parents better understand their child’s needs, or guiding adults through life’s transitions, Dr. Chaparro strives to help clients gain insight, build resilience, and move forward with confidence.

Dr. Chaparro has worked with individuals across the lifespan, including preschool-aged children, school-aged children, adolescents, and adults. Her experience in both school based and clinical settings provides a unique understanding of how developmental, learning, behavioral, and emotional differences can present across environments. She remains committed to ongoing professional development and stays informed of the latest research, best practices, and advancements in psychological assessment. Her areas of expertise include Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), learning disabilities including dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia, developmental delays and intellectual disabilities, as well as anxiety, depression, and other social emotional challenges. She has particular expertise in differential diagnosis, recognizing that many developmental, cognitive, emotional, and behavioral differences can present in similar ways or occur together.

She understands that many individuals spend years feeling misunderstood, overlooked, or unsure why certain things seem harder for them than for others. Rather than focusing solely on a diagnosis, Dr. Chaparro believes that understanding the “why” behind a person’s experiences can be empowering. She helps individuals and families gain clarity, recognize strengths, and access meaningful support, including those whose Autism or ADHD may have gone unrecognized due to masking behaviors and coping strategies.

The Meaning Behind LexiRose

The name LexiRose is deeply meaningful to Dr. Chaparro, as it was inspired by her daughters, Alexa and Olivia (whose middle name is Rose). Their love and influence have shaped not only who she is as a mother, but also the way she approaches her work. As both a psychologist and a mother, she understands the joys, worries, and challenges that come with raising children and wanting nothing more than to help them thrive, feel confident, and lead fulfilling lives. This personal connection fuels her passion for helping individuals and families feel supported, understood, and empowered.
